Lizzy from My Little Book Blog tagged me in this style of Blog-post (thank you for reminding me) and at first I was like “Yay! Someone noticed me in the big wide world of The Internet!” and then I was like “Oh no! Someone noticed me in the big wide world of The Internet!” (paradoxical I know), mostly because I don’t think of myself an interesting person (in fact I’m quite boring) but I do occasionally have interesting ideas. But on with the post!
How many books have you read this year?
I haven’t read any books this year… However I read ten books last year
Are you doing the 2016 Goodreads Reading Challenge? If So, how many books are you planning on reading?
I’m going to try and read 50 books, but I doubt I’m going to achieve that, so I’m aiming low and hoping to get 20 books read by the end of the year
Who is your favorite Author?
No! I dislike this question! There are so many great authors available, so no, I refuse
If you could interview anyone from your life living or dead, who would it be?
Probably Queen Elizabeth the II or Billy Connolly
If you could live ANYWHERE in the world, where would it be?
I’m sort of in love with Edinburgh, so there probably
If you could speak any other language, which one would it be?
Spanish or Gaelic (Scottish Gaelic)
Do you have any pets?
I have a cat, when I first moved into my house the cat kept hanging around, so my partner and I came to the conclusion that the previous tennents who’d lived there had abandoned it, so we adopted it (sorta).
He’s a little feral to be honest and I am also allergic to cats but my partner loves cats so here we are. On a secondary note, it is a lot harder to take pictures of cats than I first thought
Do you have any siblings?
I have four related siblings (older brother, two younger sisters and a younger brother), the joys of a divorced family
Do you play any instruments?
No
What is your favorite food?
Mash potato is pretty good, but nachos would have to be my favourite
Have you ever broken a bone?
No
What is your go-to pizza order?
The lot, minus olives and onions
Where would I find you on a normal Saturday afternoon?
Probably at work (which would be at a supermarket, Coles specifically)
Tell us a memory that makes you super-duper happy?
When my partner and I bought our house together
Tattoos? Do you have any, want any, thought of ever having any?
I would like tattoos but cannot currently afford them however I would like a twister theater mask tattoo on the inside of one write and a seahorse and a dragon tattoo on my upper right arm. In Japanese mythology, a seahorse is considered a baby dragon. I would also like to get a Day of The Dead tattoo, something small in black in white with red roses around it, so something like this:
There’s more designs here
Who is your go-to blogger when you need a pick-me-up read?
Katytastic, she’s so enthusiastic about books
Twitter or Instagram?
I have both, but under a different name
What key rings do you have on your keys?
None, I used to have a key ring from high school (a reminder of what I have survived and triumphed over) but that broke the other day
Reading place of choice – bed, bath, window sill, cloud? Let me know!
I usually read in bed or on the living room couch
Dream Job? (example burger tester)
I dunno, Writer and Book Reviewer are the only paying jobs I want
Favourite reading tip?
Read a diverse bunch of books and push yourself to read outside of your preferred genres. However, don’t waste your time on mediocre books, don’t feel like you have to stick it out until the end, if you don’t like where it’s going, move on to the next book
Favourite book of 2K15?
Vicious by V.E. Schwab
I loooooved Vicious too. SO MUCH LOVE. And sadness. And relief that it’s getting a sequel. XD To be honest, that book has made me certain to read everything of ever from VE Schwab. Not even sad. XD
Ohhh, I want to be paid to read/review too. Ultimate dream.
I’m not sure if I’d want to move to the UK? But I definitely want to see it. Soooomeday.
This was really fun to read!!
Thanks for stopping by @ Paper Fury!

It’s funny you should mention Vicious, your abundant love for V.E. Schwab is apparently contagious as I’ve made it my mission to read all her books, whether or not I’m successful is another matter but still. I’m glad you found it entertaining, as I only read ten books last year, I thought I was just repeating myself and being boring. Thank you for stopping by, I know you’re busy 🙂
