Anyway, I was hoping to be able to write a blog-post that compared a homemade version of Devil’s Food Cake

To a Betty Crocker version of Devil’s Food Cake (to act as a control so to speak)

and find out which one tasted better, but alas, I was unable to as only the homemade version of the Devil’s Food Cake was consumed. However, I did receive the Kim Seal of Approval for the homemade version of Devil’s Food Cake, although they did say they didn’t like the icing (which is fair enough, it’s essentially thickened cream and a block of dark cooking chocolate).
