Quarterly Goals
~Write one Stim Toy Review post per month (try to post on a Monday)
I seem to do reasonably well with this goal in the last quarter, so I’m going to continue doing it. I think posting STR posts on Monday is also working out well.
~Write one Weekend Notes Review article per month (get better at linking to articles and self-promotion)
I thought I had failed this goal last quarter, but it turns out that my third Weekend Notes article was published on the 31st of March, so it just squeezed in. Huzzah for strange time-zones. I’m not doing great at the Recipe Yum articles, however, with regards to WN articles, I’m doing well to find topics to write about, I’ve got the next three article topics picked out and should be able to write-up April’s WN article by the end of the week.
~Write one Recipe Yum article per month (get better at linking to articles and self-promotion)
This goal hasn’t been working at all, which is super disappointing, I was hoping that writing posts about baked goods would make me feel better, but no. There’s a part of me that thinks I should give up and come back to this when I’m in a better mindset, if this is still a problem by the end of this quarter, I’ll have to put it aside.
~Write and publish a minimum of four blog-posts per month on Ambiguous Pieces
Last quarter I managed to do this fairly consistently, so I’ve decided to keep doing it, I’m aiming to publish certain posts on specific days, for example, STR posts on a Monday and Book Review Posts on a Tuesday. I’ve been doing an okay good job at that thus far, but I’ll see how things go with this Quarter.
~Film, edit and publish one video (via my YouTube Channel) once a month
Last quarter, I was aiming to produce four videos a month, upon reflection, I’ve decided this isn’t realistic with my current state of unemployment. I was honestly hoping to have found suitable employment by now, and make my videos around that. I know now that this was my foolish optimism at work. Things have been harder on the job front than I had first anticipated. Getting a job is a bigger priority at this stage.
Quarterly Booklist:
Last quarter, I assigned myself 15 books to read, I only managed to read 3 books from that list. Although, at the end of this quarter, my Goodreads Challenge stands at 13 books read. So, I’m doing okay at reading in general, just terrible at reading specific books(?). IDK. Here’s the Booklist for this Quarter, feel free to read along, or not, you do you.

Once again, I probably won’t read and review all of these books by the end of the Quarter, I also suspect that now that I’ve written down a comprehensive list of books to read, I’ll probably just go and read completely different books, especially since this is exactly what happened last time (I’ve begun reading a lot of science fiction novels recently for some reason).
