~Write one Recipe Yum article per month – Goal Not Accomplished:
Unfortunately, I didn’t write any Recipe Yum articles this quarter, while I did do some baking, I forgot to take pictures. It also turns out that my partner isn’t a fan of passionfruit slice because of the crunchy passionfruit seeds, which I understand, but it was frustrating that he didn’t say something sooner. Especially since he had no problems hovering around the kitchen while I was making Betty Crocker Chocolate Brownies (just packet stuff, super simple, and perfect for beginners).
~Write and publish a minimum of four blog-posts per month on Ambiguous Pieces – Goal Accomplished:
I managed to accomplish my minimum monthly quota for this quarter. I’ve just recently realised something about my monthly quota, I kept thinking of it as just 4 posts, however, it’s actually (4 × random selection blog-posts) + (2 × Book Review blog-posts) = 6 blog-posts per month or 18 blog-posts per quarter. I sure can Maths good.
~Film, edit and publish one video (via my YouTube Channel) per month – Goal Not Accomplished:
I only managed to complete one video this quarter, which is super frustrating for me, hopefully, next quarter will be an improvement on the YouTube front. I was also hoping to do some Podcasting as well but that didn’t work out either.
Quarterly Reading Goals:
Books Read: 16 books
Books Read from Quarterly Booklist: 1 book
Book Genres: Non-Fiction, Urban Fantasy, Contemporary Romance
~Saga – Volume Nine by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples
~Futuristic Violence and Fancy Suits by David Wong
~XXXHolic Omnibus – Volume 1 by CLAMP
~Black by Fleur Ferris
~Giant Days – Volume 8 by John Allison
~A Princess in Theory by Alyssa Cole
Monthly Earworms – Songs I’m currently obsessed with (for March):
~Cyboogie by King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard – the film clip is super weird, however, weird film clips are the standard for King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Side note: the film clip features retro 70’s computers, so there are machines with flashing lights in the background, and the clip features a lot of jump-cuts.
~Istanbul by They Might Be Giants – courtesy of The Umbrella Academy
~Pasta by Angie McMahon – IDK what it is specifically, perhaps it’s a combination of things, but I just find this song super relatable.
Thanks for reading and hopefully things will improve this Quarter. If you want to talk about your own Quarterly or Monthly Goals, feel free to do so down the below in the comments section, and let me know if they’re working out for you.
