Review:
While I have always had a weakness for Stationery, I seem to be amassing a collection of Tactile Pens, Pom-Pom Pens in particular. Normally, I don’t go into Kaisercraft due to the over-powering and nauseating smell of incense and perfumed candles, a few minutes inside those stores is enough to give me a headache. In saying that, they are one of the few places with a wide selection of blank cards, which was why I was inside the store on this occasion.
I happen to spot this pen in the children’s crafting section and, while I despise the current trend of “bold colours = childish” and “pastel colours = maturity”, I am glad for the find. I prefer hot-pink over pastel shades of pink as a general rule. The pen is thick in size, almost baton-like in nature, which is how the pen also has pink, yellow, blue, and purple beads contained inside the pen. If I so desired, I could take out these beads, and replace them with beads of my own choosing.
The only downside that I can see to this particular item is that the ink is blue, when I generally prefer pens with black ink, however, this is a small slight. Happy to recommend this item, however, due to noise the beads make while twirling the pen, I probably wouldn’t consider this pen a Stealth Stim.
