Stim Toy Review: Narcissa Narwhal – Squeezamals

Image Description: The background is a grey fuzzy-blanket. The foreground of the image is focused on a small fuzzy object, it’s bubble-gum pink and it resembles a narwhal, however, there are some small differences. There are two small white-and-fuzzy fins to the side, there is a white-and-pink spiralled-horn at the top of the forehead. Narcissa the Narwhal also has large, anime-style blue eyes, and blush stickers as well.

Review:
~Scented Item: Like with Nadia, Narcissa has a strong purple-grape scent attached to her, which (in retrospect) makes Joy the odd one out. Nadia and Narcissa both smell like purple-grape but Joy was supposedly given a watermelon scent instead. For me personally, this inspires more questions, not less.

While it’s a little odd to associate the scent of watermelon with a type of whale that’s found mostly in the Arctic Ocean, it could be a case of colour association, after all, watermelons are green and Joy is a shade of green. It’s a bit a reach, psychologically speaking, but it’s slightly more plausible than the purple-grape scent.

~Soft and Fuzzy: My favourite aspect of these soft toys are just how soft and fuzzy they are. They are super soft and fuzzy!

~Squishy Squad: Amazon is considerably more expensive than in-store options, however, I understand that in-store purchases may not be practical or safe at the moment. I probably won’t purchase any more Squeezamals online. I’m going to consider Narcissa an exception. Now that I have Narcissa, I have the complete set of Narwhal Squeezamals, Mwhahahahah. Now, all I have to do is find where I packed away the other two, and I can have all three together.

All in all, under normal circumstances, I would probably recommend going to either Target or Kmart to find these soft toys. Amazon is definitely the more expensive option in Australia, however, the fact remains that there is currently a plague getting about, so I do understand if Amazon is a more viable option for you.
